The holiday home is located in the Rhine plain, one of the warmest and sunniest areas in Germany. The beauty of nature and enchanting small towns invite you to small and large excursions.
The Black Forest can also be reached in a few minutes by car and attracts visitors with impressive waterfalls, golf courses, hiking trails and castles or, if you like it more sporty, mountain biking and ziplines…
Nearest shopping possibility in Lichtenau; e.g. Edeka, ALDI, baker (approx. 2km).
The next restaurant “Rössel” can be reached across the street in 1 minute; Restaurant “Zur Blume” in about 7 minutes (on foot).
An impressive turquoise blue lake with a large sunbathing lawn invites you to swim and linger.
Ideal for bike tours: Glide effortlessly through the nearby fields, forests and Rhine meadows.
The cosy Scherzheimer Hoftheater offers culture in the village (very popular, please ask for long-term reservations in advance or, if you are very lucky, at the box office).
Further gastronomy (Greek, Asian, Döner…) in Lichtenau town (approx. 2km) or stop in the dreamlike situated Fisherman’s directly at the flooded gravel pit and treat yourself to a cool drink in nice weather directly at the lake.
